Wingtip is a men’s retailer with a passion for serving the needs of the busy, modern gentleman. As they grew, they needed a brand identity that reflected their appreciation for the past while incorporating a stylish, fresh aesthetic for today.


Wingtip is the “one-stop shop” for the modern gentleman.

Taking our cues from old-fashioned pinstripe patterns and cigar boxes, we created a visual identity, gift boxes and website that evoked an earlier era of charm, urbane wit and sophistication.

Hatch extended the visual identity to Wingtip’s store windows. These formerly underutilized assets created a gorgeous space to advertise the different services and product categories featured inside, while creating a connection and arousing the curiosity of passersby.

Wingtip opened a members-only social club. Exclusive, it needed branding as elevated as the experience. The name was quite literally, and quite simply the image of a wingtip style shoe—which, shall we say, fit well with the intricate architectural details and high-end accouterments found within.


We had the fortunate experience of working with Hatch Design on rebranding our men’s lifestyle concept including website, packaging and promotional items. Joel, Katie and the Hatch Design team did an outstanding job of grasping our brand values and executing a look that has proven to be well received and successful in the marketplace.
