Hatch was tasked with brand positioning, naming, visual identity, package design and the website for this new-to-the-world culinary oil made from algae. We examined macro trends and consumer research provided emotional depth.
With the highest level of monounsaturated fats (the good fats), a light neutral taste, a high smoke point (up to 485°) and an unparalleled sustainability footprint, we named it Thrive Algae® Oil.
“We used the learning to create a design with taste appeal right from the start,” said Nicole Flores, associate creative director at Hatch. “The white bottle wrap is an elegant canvas and an anomaly within a crowded shelf set that communicates the premium quality and clean result. The considered detail of the clear heart center is a window to the beautifully golden oil contained inside.”
